Marilyn Merritt-Gray

Marilyn served as the Deputy Leader of the Green Party of New Brunswick and has played an active role in shaping the progressive Green health policy framework. Marilyn is an accomplished health researcher and author, who spends her BEST energy engaged locally in community as a volunteer and advocate.

Marilyn lives with her family in Kars on Belleisle Bay, her roots run deep in the Gagetown-Petitcodiac Riding with generations of her family having lived here. Marilyn has 20 years teaching Nursing at UNB and over 8 years working as a community mental health nurse in rural New Brunswick.

Marilyn chaired the NB Mental Health Commission Board, been a member of the NB Domestic Violence Death Review Committee, currently Co-Chairs Voices for Sustainable Environments and Communities, and is a member of her Local Service District committee.
