Josephine Watson

A writer, actor and singer, Josephine now intends to lend her voice to the people of her riding so that their needs and realities are heard in the Legislative Assembly.

Josephine is a bilingual and biracial woman born in the Maritimes. In 2006, after living in Montreal for 15 years and working professionally as a musician, artist, and poet, Josephine returned to New Brunswick. She has resided in Moncton for 8 years, and is actively seeking to serve her community and find new ways to give back.

Growing up in Fredericton where she attended the French immersion program at Fredericton High School, Josephine moved to Montreal after high school to see what the world had to offer and to find a way to continue using her French. After years of working in customer service, Josephine decided to follow her dreams of studying theater and start a career in professional theater.

Later, Josephine would host artistic soirées, as well as write and publish her own work. Her artistic experience includes the recording of an album and even a performance at the Montreal Jazz Festival as a singer for DJ Champion.
