John Sabine

John has a strong commitment to the community and the Province. He believes that decades of Liberal and Conservative governments and their policies have kept the Province down, rather than unlocking its true potential.

John has volunteered with many community organizations over the years and for that service was awarded the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Metal in 2002. He is presently the chairman of the Norton Local Service District advisory committee, the Vice President of the Hampton Curling Club, the Chairman of the SNB Forest Products Marketing Board and the treasurer of Blue Knights NBII motorcycle club.

John is a retired Saint John City police officer and after retirement had a private investigation company for 12 years. John is a hobby farmer raising sheep and is the proud grandfather of 6 year old twin boys.

John has a strong commitment to the community and the Province. He believes that decades of Liberal and Conservative governments and their policies have kept the Province down, rather than unlocking its true potential. To show John’s commitment to the community and being in politics for the right reasons he will donate half his MLA’s salary to charity and not for profit organizations.
