Jenny O’Neill brings a deep personal and professional commitment to social responsibility and environmental consciousness.
A graduate of Acadia University (BMus) and of the University of Edinburgh (post-secondary certificate in Education), Jenny’s vocation has been teaching for twenty years. First in Scotland, and now in New Brunswick, Jenny has been a contract teacher in elementary and middle schools.
More recently, while raising two children, she has been a supply teacher in the Riverview area and has also taught in the English as an Additional Language (EAL) Program in local schools, helping new Canadians adapt to school and life in New Brunswick.
As a parent, Jenny’s top priority is to raise her children with the same sense of responsibility to others, to the environment, and to their community with which she was raised. She knows that this responsibility is not only for this generation, but for generations to come. She embodies this dedication through her volunteering activities, primarily at St. Paul’s United Church in Riverview, helping with the children and youth programming and many activities and projects throughout the year.
Jenny is proud to represent the Green Party and its values, which she shares.
