Curtis Bartibogue

Curtis is a member of the Esgenoôpetit First Nation, where he served as a band councillor from 2004 to 2014.

Curtis Bartibogue was born and raised in Burnt Church, NB by a hard-working family, his mother an addictions counsellor and his father a Francophone Acadian logger.  He is a member of the Esgenoôpetit First Nation, which he served as a band councillor from 2004 to 2014. Long a leader in his community, Bartibogue also served as National Youth Advisor to the Assembly of First Nations under the Phil Fontaine administration.  He has been a lobster fisherman since 2015, and is the father of three children.
